Welcome to City of Discovery Brass Band
The
City of Discovery Brass Band are the 2nd Section Scottish Regional Champions

The City of Discovery Brass Band is a successful and friendly Dundee based brass band, formed in 1996. We are a contesting band that has enjoyed successes in many local and national contests. In February 2011 we won 1st place in the 2nd section Scottish Regional Championships, building upon our 3rd place in 2010.
Our members include local teachers, students, pupils and many others from all over the Tayside area. The band is always keen to hear from brass and percussion players who would like to come along and play a wide variety of music across classical, pop, and traditional genres. We rehearse on a Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9:30. We do have instruments available and transport can be arranged to rehearsals if required.
As well as competing in contests throughout Scotland, we perform a range of concerts within local venues and bandstands, in and around Tayside throughout the year.
